Shovel is super light , our family of 3 purchased identical pro avi shovels so we would know how to use each others shovel in a instant , but we all use different backpacks ,I use a Trice quicksilver 25 l kids use burton ak 18l , shovels fitted into both style packs with ease , u don’t even notice they r in the bags due to shape and weight , my children are small 13/14 years old , shovel ergonomics are fine for them as well as myself 179 cm , weight wise wouldn’t know they r there in the bag , actually couldn’t tell weight difference when I was resort riding on a non powder day (shovel not packed)to when shovel was packed in my pack for trees and slack country riding , .more than happy with the purchase
